Our Commitment to Safeguarding

D&G Swim Team is committed to providing a safe, positive and inclusive environment for every child and young person in our programme. We fully adopt Swim England's Wavepower 2024–2026 Child Safeguarding Policy and Procedures.

We ensure that:

  • Children are listened to, respected and protected
  • Coaches and volunteers follow mandatory safeguarding standards
  • All activity is delivered in line with national guidance
  • Concerns are taken seriously and acted upon quickly
