🏆 What a brilliant result! Derwentside & Gateshead earned that top spot with some stellar performances at this Summer's Junior League, held at The Louisa Centre in Stanley. The energy was ELECTRIC!

👏 And hats off to all of the competing teams—This year was packed with thrilling races and fierce competition. Now, with Division 2 on the horizon, the anticipation for next year is already building.

Junior League 2023

On Saturday 8th July 2023 our swimmers headed to the Junior League Division 2 final at Tynemouth.

The GAW teams fought off tough competition from Darlington, Chester-le-Street, Borocuda and Durham to finish in 3rd place, with some fantastic team & individual wins, several pbs and lots of fun thrown in for good measure!

Massive shout out to our 9 year old team who won the 1st Place trophy in their age category:-

Olivia Donnelly, Sophie Bell, Aria Chater, Louise Rostron, Oscar Forbes, Joseph Winwood and Anya Lyon.
