Entry Deadline Entries accepted until each session is full, when the meet will close.
Entry Fee £7.50 per event. Poolside entries £10 per swim, subject to availability and the Meet Manager’s discretion.
Age Groups 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15/Over. Ages as at 29 November 2026. Event eligibility varies by age; see the meet conditions and programme.
Pool 25m, six lanes, variable depth, anti-wave lane ropes and a separate swim-down facility. Colorado electronic timing with scoreboard display.
Results & Awards All events are heat declared winners by age group. Awards to the first six aged 9 and 10, and the first three aged 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15/Over. Disability awards to the first three in each event, based on relative multi-classification points.

Session Times

Morning sessions on both days: warm-up 8:00am, racing starts 9:00am. Afternoon warm-up and start times are to be confirmed. View the full programme.

A maximum of four heats will be held for each 400m Freestyle event: Event 201 (Open/Male) and Event 401 (Female).

Spectator Admission

£5 per session or £10 per day. Concessions: £4 per session or £8 per day. Children aged 12 and under, accompanied by adults, are admitted free.

Payment by card or cash. Start sheets: 50p per session.

Photography and video recording are strictly forbidden under the meet conditions. Only an officially designated photographer is permitted on poolside.

Upper Time Limits

Entry times must not be faster than the published upper time limits. All 50m events have no upper qualifying times. Swimmers must still supply an entry time for every event; see the conditions for full entry requirements.

Club Entries & Officials

Clubs must submit entries using the Sportsystems Entry Manager file to galamanager@derwentsideasc.co.uk. A valid email address is required for entry confirmation. Online payment details are on the summary sheet.

Poolside passes: £22 for the weekend or £11 for a day, including start sheets and lunch. Coaches and Team Managers must have the necessary pass.
