South Tyneside Spring Meet 2026 — Final Information
Club Areas & Poolside Arrangements
- Friday evening: All swimmers, coaches and team managers may find their own area in the main pool hall.
- Saturday and Sunday: On arrival, each club will be allocated an area — either poolside at the main pool, at the swim-down pool, or in a group changing area.
- The leisure waters at Haven Point will remain open to the public throughout the event. Gala swimmers are not permitted to enter the leisure waters and must remain in their allocated area or the swim-down pool when not in the main pool hall.
- There is no spectator access to the poolside or changing village. Swimmers must not access the spectator area via the poolside steps.
- No swim-down facility is available for the Friday evening session.
Kit Bags & Lockers
- Please do not bring large kit bags onto poolside. Swimmers should use lockers where possible and only take a small drawstring bag or suitable equivalent onto poolside.
- Locker tokens accept a trolley/locker token or a £1 coin (refundable).
Mobile Phones
In line with Swim England policy, mobile phones must not be used in the changing areas. Coaches and team managers are asked to help enforce this policy.
Entry to the Venue
Swimmers, coaches and team managers will be admitted approximately 15 minutes before each warm-up session. Spectators will be admitted as warm-up begins. Please bear this in mind when timing your arrival — particularly on Friday, when setup time after public swimming is limited.
