Entries are by Hy-tek computer file, emailed to nationals@scottishswimming.com
Subject line must read: [Club Code] - Scottish Short Course Championships
- Times must have been achieved since 1 January 2025 in accredited competitions, in 25m short course format (or converted using Hy-tek standard or Swim England conversion tables).
- A proof of time report must be emailed with the entry file.
- Once the file is submitted, the Club Entry Secretary must also complete the Online Application Entries Summary via the Scottish Swimming website.
- Para-swimmer entries should be on the SC entry file. Email Scottish Swimming to advise the file contains para entries.

Admission & Streaming
Spectating is available at all sessions. All sessions will be live streamed. Card payment only. Tickets purchased in venue per session — no pre-sale.

Accreditation Passes
All club/team staff must apply for an accreditation pass via the Scottish Swimming website.

Application deadline: noon, Wednesday 25 November 2026. Scottish Swimming Annual Passes are valid. Lost/replacement passes: £10.00. All passes must be printed and worn visibly at all times.

Athlete Passes
All competing athletes (including relay-only athletes) must apply for an athlete pass via their membership on the Scottish Swimming website. Closing date: 14:00, Wednesday 9 December 2026.
The pass will be emailed to accepted athletes after the programme is issued. Athletes must print their own pass and wear it visibly at all times. A £10.00 charge applies for passes printed at the event.

Withdrawal Procedures
Heats: Withdrawals for Session 1 must be notified by 18:00 on Thursday 10 December 2026. Subsequent morning session withdrawals must be lodged at the Recorders Desk by 18:00 the day prior; afternoon session withdrawals by 10:00 on the day. Late or undeclared withdrawals (except genuine illness or proven emergency) may incur a £10 fine per withdrawal.
Finals: Competitors wishing to withdraw from a final must inform the Recorders in writing within 30 minutes of the Finalists List being published. Any competitor withdrawing in a manner that prevents a reserve taking part (except genuine illness or emergency) shall be suspended from all further events at the Championships.
Medals & Trophies
- Scottish Open Champion — 1st, 2nd and 3rd
- Scottish National Champion — 1st (where the winner is not also the Open Champion, registered with Scottish Swimming)
- Scottish Junior Champion — 1st (aged under 17 as at 31 December 2026, registered with Scottish Swimming)
Special trophies include the Alistair Sankey Memorial Trophy, Paisley 500, Citrus Trophies, Aberdeen 200, and Best Team Cup. Full trophy criteria available from Scottish Swimming.
Medal/trophy winning athletes must report to the Presentation Marshall immediately upon completing their race. Appropriate club kit must be worn. Athletes who fail to attend the presentation forfeit their medal.
