Entries

How to Enter

Entries must be submitted online by 12 noon on Wednesday 25 November 2026, accompanied by the appropriate entry fee. All individual event entrants must have equalled or bettered the qualifying times shown above.

British Competitors must have times recorded in British Rankings from Level 1 or 2 competitions since 1 September 2025. The fastest time in British Rankings will be accepted. Times will not be converted.

Overseas Competitors must submit times recorded in World Aquatics Rankings or official results from a National Governing Body sanctioned competition since 1 September 2025.

Competitors may enter in the name of one club only and must be a registered member of that club at the date of entry.

D&G athletes: please confirm your intention to enter with your coach before submitting. The internal D&G deadline may be earlier than the official closing date.

Competition Format

Finals Format

All individual events have heats and A, B and Junior (17 and under) Finals, except the 800m and 1500m which are Heat Declared Winner events.

A Final: fastest 10 from heats (max 2 overseas)
B Final: next fastest 10
Junior Final: next fastest 10 aged 17 and under
Two reserves declared for all finals

Medals are awarded to the top three British competitors in each A Final and the top three Junior competitors. Commemorative medals for overseas competitors placed in the top three.

Relay events are Heat Declared Winner. The top three fastest teams receive awards. A maximum of three teams per club per event. Relay teams must consist of two Open/Male and two Female athletes.

Important Information

Key Conditions

Accreditation

Coaches, team managers and chaperones must apply online for poolside accreditation before the closing date and print their own passes. Competitors must also print their own accreditation. Admission to pool and athlete areas requires a valid pass.

Withdrawals

Withdrawals from heats must be made by 12 noon on 9 December 2026 for Day 1 swims, and by 12 noon on the day before for subsequent days. Withdrawal from finals must be notified to the Chief Recorder within 30 minutes of the last individual heat event. All withdrawals are via the official online process.

Call Room

Competitors must report to the Call Room for heats and finals and enter race ready. Coaches, team managers and chaperones are not permitted in the Call Room area during finals.

Team Leader Meeting

A club representative must attend the Team Leader Meeting on the evening of 9 December 2026. Time and location will be confirmed in the Competitor Confirmation Pack.

Doping Control

By entering, competitors consent to Doping Control if requested and agree to abide by Aquatics GB and UKAD Anti-Doping Rules. Competitors must carry photographic identification at all times.

Para Swimming

Para Swimming events are open to competitors with an authorised World Para Swimming, Aquatics GB, Virtus-FID or British Blind Sport Classification. Minimum age is 11 years at 31 December 2026.
