Entry Process
All entries are completed online with set Qualifying Times. There are two phases:

How to Enter
Individual Entries
- Enter your Scottish Swimming / Swim England / Swim Wales membership number or family name and click Enter.
- If you are a member of more than one club, select which club you wish to represent.
- The system will automatically populate with your best times from Rankings achieved since 1 June 2024.
- Tick the events you wish to enter, click Add to entry list, review and proceed to payment (credit/debit card or PayPal).
- Your entry is not complete until you receive a receipt from PayPal.
- Submission confirms you have read and understood the medical declaration.
- For overseas entries, click International Entrants on the entry system.
Relay Entries
- Select club, age category and events. Note: changes to age groups will not be permitted after submission.
- Relay entries must be submitted by noon on 27 May 2026.
- Swimmers entering relay events only must still submit an individual entry via the online system.
- Team Line Forms must be submitted by the end of the preceding session.
Withdrawals & Re-Entry
| Withdrawals | Withdrawals up to 18:00 on Thursday 11 June should be made via the online system. After this date, withdrawals must be made at the recorders desk beside the timing suite. All withdrawals must be made by the end of the preceding session. Refunds will not be made. |
| Re-Entry | Competitors in the 400m IM and 400m, 800m and 1500m Freestyle must confirm their intention to swim by re-entering before the start of the relevant session. Re-entry can be made by email to masters@scottishswimming.com or at the recorders desk up to one hour before the session. |
Warm Up & Swim Down
Warm up times in the competition pool will be published in the Competitor Information Pack after the closing date. Warm up and swim down facilities will also be available in the 6 lane 25m diving pit throughout the competition.
Seeding
| Relays & 50m | Competitors in each age group seeded in the same heats. Where numbers are low, age groups may be combined with competitors seeded in adjacent lanes. |
| 100m–1500m | Swimmers seeded slowest to fastest by entry time, with all age groups swimming together. Each heat will be spearheaded. |
Awards & Presentations
| Medal Ceremonies | Medals presented to competitors who break British, European or World records. All other medals can be collected from the medal desk. |
| The Cupar Trophy | Awarded to the club (British or overseas) whose swimmers gain the most points in individual events. |
| Swimwear | Swimwear must be compliant with World Aquatics rules. |
Competition Disclaimer
In the event of cancellation, refunds will be made but Scottish Swimming will have no legal liability to pay any form of consequential or indirect damage such as loss of enjoyment, travel, catering, or accommodation.
