My Story
I was afraid of the water when I was little and wouldn't get my face wet, so my parents signed me up for lessons at the old Consett pool. Last year I was picked to be on the Swim England Youth Performance Squad and this gave me the opportunity for my first international competition in Luxembourg.
Favourite Memory
Age group NERs in Leeds when I fell in the pool with my clothes on.
How I Manage My Swimming Life
I try to keep busy to stop me overthinking. I keep organised, have lists and a timetable to stick to, and make sure I balance the time between everything I have to do.
Favourite Training Session
For me I love a tough set that allows me to work hard and challenge myself.

What I Love About D&G
I'm lucky to have always had great coaches that help me to be the best I can be. The support we show each other when younger and senior swimmers come together at comps like N+Ds is something really special.
Be honest with yourself about your goals. Swimming should never feel like a sacrifice, it should always be a choice.
My Goals
- Get to European Juniors next year
- The Olympics
- I hope I can achieve all my goals in swimming. It will give me life skills and memories to last forever.
