A brilliant weekend of racing for D&G across Manchester, Chester le Street and Middlesbrough, with finals, medals, personal bests and plenty of North East Regional qualifying times achieved.
From our youngest swimmers at the Chester Chaser to our athletes competing at the Manchester Winter Qualifiers and Last Chance NER Qualifier, there was plenty to celebrate across the club over 16–18 October.
Manchester Winter Qualifiers
Our Manchester contingent headed to the Aquatics Centre for the Winter Qualifiers, held from 16–18 October, as part of a busy three-meet weekend for the team.

Chester Chaser
Our youngest swimmers were among those representing D&G at the Chester Chaser on 17–18 October. It was great to see them taking their place in a weekend with so much to celebrate.
Last Chance NER Qualifier
Meanwhile, D&G swimmers from a number of squads were also in action at The Neptune in Middlesbrough for the Last Chance NER Qualifier on 17–18 October, completing a busy weekend of competition across three venues. Some terrific performances all round with some great Personal Best times and NER qualifying times.

Plenty to celebrate
Across the weekend, finals appearances, medals and PBs made for a fantastic set of achievements. With lots of North East Regional qualifying times achieved too, there is plenty to build on as the season continues.
Well done to everyone who raced, and thank you to the coaches, team managers, officials and families who supported our swimmers across the weekend.
