What a start to the week. D&G had two athletes racing in the 1500m Freestyle on Day 1 of the Aquatics GB Next Gen Championships and Talia Staines has come away with a silver medal in the Women’s 19 and over age group. An outstanding result in one of the most demanding events in the pool. Alice Forrest also put in a brilliant performance, finishing 5th from 32 swimmers, in the Women’s 17/18 age group.
