Get Involved: Volunteer Roles for 2026/27

We are looking for passionate people to join our committee

As the 2025/26 season draws to a close, we find ourselves in a really positive place as a club. Our swimmers have competed well, our programme has grown, and the team behind the scenes has worked incredibly hard to make it all happen.

Looking ahead to 2026/27, we want to build on that momentum. To do that, we are looking to strengthen our volunteer committee with some fresh faces and new energy. These roles are hugely important and offer you an opportunity to play a real part in a club that genuinely makes a difference to young people in our community.

What Does It Actually Involve?

Every role is different, but the common thread is this: a few hours of your time, a willingness to get stuck in, and a genuine interest in seeing the club thrive. You will be joining a friendly, supportive committee where no one is expected to know everything from day one. We work as a team.

Whether you have relevant experience or simply want to contribute in a meaningful way, we would love to hear from you. Parents, carers, and members of the wider D&G community are all welcome to put their hand up.

Why It Matters

D&G Swim Team exists because people give their time. Every gala we run, every competition we enter, every social event we organise — it all happens because volunteers make it happen.
