Club Championships: Update

Club Championships: Update

A great afternoon of racing

Our internal Club Championships delivered a fantastic afternoon of racing, with swimmers showing focus, determination and plenty of team spirit throughout the session.

It was particularly pleasing to see some of our youngest swimmers taking to the blocks for the first time. Competing in a first event takes courage, and every one of them should be proud of stepping forward and giving it their best.

Taking part is what counts

Not every swimmer can finish first, and winning is only one part of competitive sport. Every swimmer who raced, supported their teammates and challenged themselves made a valuable contribution to the afternoon.

Personal progress, trying something new and having the confidence to take part are all achievements worth celebrating. Those moments are what help swimmers grow, both in and out of the pool.

Thank you to everyone involved

Well done to all our swimmers who took part, and thank you to the coaches, officials, volunteers and families who helped make the event such a success.

The winners for open male and female from each age category will be announced at our Presentation Evening later in the year. For now, we hope everyone who competed enjoyed the experience and left the pool feeling proud of their efforts.
