A look ahead with Head Coach

After a lot of hard work and planning over the last 9 months we officially merged Derwentside ASC and Gateshead and Whickham ASC starting on September 2^nd 2024. This is such an exciting venture for all involved and will create a lot of opportunities for the local swimmers across several communities, and hopefully sustainability moving forward.

We are operating across a number of centres across the region which will make us accessible to more people wanting to be involved with swimming, the centres are Louisa Centre, Consett Leisure Centre, Dunston, Birtley Community Pool, Washington, and Elswick. We also have a lot to offer for every level within the sport, we operate Learn to Swim Classes, Stages 8-10, Junior Development, Senior Development, Swim Fit and Masters! So, there is something for everyone!
